Cleveland Heights has a nice little 5k/10k race and a 1 mile walk/run event on the first weekend in October. I had planned on running this race, but alas, an acorn had sneaked under my foot during a run a week ago and I've been limping around since on a twisted ankle. I decided to go up and take photos of the race instead since I had been wanting to get some event photography in on the Fujifilm GFX 100s II camera body.

This camera is really centered around studio portrait type sessions and does have some challenges for catching focus for some very active shots, but it seemed to perform pretty good for this event. I happened to rent the Fujinon 32-64mm lens for the weekend to take some shots at the Cleveland VegFest which was in Tremont at Lincoln Park, and to see if I should add this lens to my wish list. It performed pretty well at both events.
